What are the homeowners insurance rates like in Florida?

Say that I wanted to buy a $200k house on the gulf side. For a typical policy, what could I expect to pay per year? Im thinking of making the move from Pa and have found some cute homes in that price range online. Are the rates higher because of hurricanes?

Where can I find Farmers Insurance Rating formula for when they quote Homeowners Insurance rates?

I am trying to find out where Farmers insurance discloses their rating formula. I am in Texas and have asked the Texas department of insurance but they were no help. I know insurance companies have to disclose their standard rating formulas but they

These two cars do not pose a hazard, and the lot is clean and clear. Its not a chophouse type situation.
Usually an insurance company will not surcharge for junk cars, they'll usually decline coverage or non-renew to get off the risk. An increase would be a like an endorsement meaning we'll cover the risk, but are charging more. Like she said, who wants
