i've been an insurance agent w/ nationwide for about a year. i'm feeling a little tied down w/ the whole 9 to 5 workweek. i've been offerred a job as a unit secretary at a well known hospital in my area, making about the same as i do now, but only working

Go for it! I was in the similar situation and I quit and I dont regret it! Change is good once in a while...for a while...then maybe you can go back! With your experience, anyone will hire you! Do what YOU WANT to do! You'll thank yourself later!

Forget it. You (a/k/a Fraser) tried to sell Nationwide's proprietary information to competitors. That would violate the terms of any contract.

College is not nessassary to get into the industry, however, having some kind of business or financial background or knowledge will go a LONG way! For the most part, you just have to write an insurance exam to get your foot in the door. There are different

Nationwide Insurance Donates $120000 to CIAA Scholarship Fund

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Mar 01, 2012 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Nationwide Insurance, the official insurance provider of the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA), announced today a $120,000 donation to the CIAA college scholarship fund, as part of its ongoing support of CIAA institutions and students. To date, Nationwide Insurance has contributed more than $600,000 to the CIAA scholarship fund.

"We are proud to contribute $120,000 to the CIAA scholarship fund that helps students pursue the education that is crucial to their future," said Lee Morton, Nationwide regional vice president. "Our partnership with the CIAA is what being On Your Side is all about."

Nationwide has an ongoing relationship throughout the year with the CIAA. This partnership includes support for recruitment efforts, such as providing students with summer college internship opportunities at Nationwide and on-site leadership development sessions, as well as sponsorship of the CIAA basketball tournament, CIAA football championship game, and all 16 CIAA conference championships.
