Jan 24, 2010 by Krista | Posted in Insurance & Registration
I'm turning 16 next week and was hoping i could get my license right away, but my parents can't afford to pay for my car insurance. It would be really helpful if teens with basic liability coverage could give me an estimate of how much they pay for car
If you are in the USA, The minute you get your license you will be covered by your parents auto. policy whether your parents want you to be covered or not. (unless they specifically exclude you from their policy) Read below:

I pay 600 every 6 months. It would be cheaper for you if you can qualify for the good students discount.

Hey all,
My Dad wants me to sell my brand new dodge charger srt8 because the insurance agency is asking for an extra $1000 dollars. I have never had a speeding ticket and my record is spotless. But they're still charging that much extra.
autoinsurance.noneto.com - check this one. As I remember they have lowest car insurance rates for teens and young drivers.

You have a high-powered car and are not 29 years old - statistically, and that is all they have to go on, you are a very high risk. All companies will be pricey. The cheapest is always being added to your parents existing policy. Just be glad it isn't

/PRNewswire/ -- Car crashes are the number one killer of American teens, with an average of 11 American teens dying each day as a result of car wrecks.
Crash data from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) shows that for five consecutive years, more teen drivers have died on May 20 than any other day of the year. A combination of warm weather, parties, friends and an ending school year, contribute to heightened teen fatal crashes during warm weather months.
Through its Facebook Save 11 page, Allstate is taking action to help stop the number one killer of teens. To help shed light on the darkness of teen driving deaths, visit Save 11 to download and replace your profile picture with a black image available on the page. The blackout campaign is scheduled to run through May 27.
Allstate launched Save 11, a national public awareness campaign designed to put a real, human face on the issue of teen driving deaths, thereby encouraging more members of Congress to support the STANDUP Act.
