I haven't used my AARP membership with a travel agency, but many hotels & car rental agencies offer AARP members a substantial discount. For example, I saved about 20% on a recent hotel stay by simply selecting the "AARP" rate instead of
Airlines formerly offered to discounts to senior citizens, regardless of whether they belonged to AARP or not. However, those were eliminated several years ago. Seniors now pay the same price as everyone else.

Revenue from co-marketing agreements with leading travel brands and other affinity relationships grew by more than $100 million on a year-over-year basis in 2011, making a significant contribution to the Company's unprecedented financial results for the year, including record-high Adjusted EBITDA.
