Looking for house insurance. 2 companies came up with a direct quote, 2 others took all my info, then cut me off.

Call a broker. You won't be sorry when you have a problem and there is someone there to help you who is on your side.

Try RIAS they take a few days to send out the quote but they were very reasonable. Well worth the wait.

Wheres a good place to get insurance quotes online?

I'm about to move out on my own, and car insurance is the only crazy variable. Is there a place online to like compare all of them at once? or is it best to go to each individual site? Any suggestions?

Do you want a REAL rate? Because the whole point of those online rate comparison sites, is to harvest your personal information to sell it. The rates aren't real.

So if you're hell bent on doing it yourself, it's better to go to each

You will have to shop around as you do.
Get a quote from insurers you get from yellow pages or from the web.
