Is it true that esurance car insurance are con artists?

I've had several friends and co-workers thats told me esurance car insurance are con artists...they give u a really low quote and then start charging your credit or debit card several small amounts to increase yuor policy...

yes they are...

they've screwed me out of $500...all in one month's time.

they quoted me $600 for a 6 month policy that ended up being $1100.00.

All additional charges they took from my bank account were unauthorized

Does anyone have Esurance car insurance?

I have a policy with them, does anyone else?

If so, are you satisfied with the services and stuff with Esurance?

When I was shopping for insurance, I got a quote from Esurance. I applied on line, but was shocked to find that the final premium was almost three times what they quoted. I was not impressed with the bait and switch approach to doing business because

I tried getting a quote from this outfit but every time it asks a bunch of personal questions, and gives a quote that's much worse than my current policy. What's the point?...
