16 year old drivers FAQ
What is the law about 16 year old drivers on how many other people they can have in the car at 1 time.?
Jun 15, 2009 by Matt | Posted in Other - Cars & Transportation
I know that i can have all family members in the car but does that include cousins or not. and the other day my friend said that 16 year old driver can have as many poeple in the car after 16 1/2 years of age and i dont think that is right.
you can have 1 non related person in the car after 16 1/2. if you have any family member over 21 you can also have as many people in the car. cousins DO count as family members

There are few if any options for a person of that year. Consider that your child is 16 years old, the starting age of legal driving. Also consider than males always have higher insurance than females. You also have to consider that you just bought your

Most insurance companies wont car if you drive 95% he drives 5%. Its the fact he lives in your home. $10,000 a year sounds crazy for insurance. It doesnt help that you bought him a sports car though.

Why more restrictions on 16 year old drivers versus 18 year old drivers?
Nov 09, 2008 by blacktea33 | Posted in Other - Cars & Transportation
At 16 you have such and such restrictions but if you are just starting at 18 to drive, you do not have that many restrictions. Why is that? They are both just starting and are likely to make the same mistakes because of inexperience, but there still

DPS: 16-year-old girl dies after single-vehicle crash in Conroe; 18-year-old ...
21.05.12
CONROE, Texas – A 16-year-old Caney Creek High School student died after a single-vehicle crash in Montgomery County Wednesday morning. The vehicle’s 18-year-old male driver was in critical condition, DPS troopers said.
It happened just after 2 a.m. in the 12800 block of FM 1485.
Troopers arrived at the scene to find a 2002 Saturn nearly split in two, smashed into the side of a pair of utility poles.
The impact of the crash snapped both poles and tore up the power lines above.
Caney Creek firefighters called for additional help from the River Plantation Fire Department. It took crews almost 45 minutes to remove both occupants of the mangled vehicle.
Fog prevented a medical helicopter from responding to the scene. The driver, identified as 18-year-old Daniel Freund, was taken via ground ambulance to Ben Taub. The passenger, Halie McDonald, was taken to Memorial Hermann in Houston with severe head trauma, internal injuries and broken bones. She was pronounced dead at the hospital later Wednesday morning.
