Is the 2009 Lancer ES CVT an affordable, safe, trustworthy car?
Jan 28, 2009 by sxychryss | Posted in Mitsubishi
I saw this on Yahoo! as one of the top 10 cars under 15k, is it worth the purchase. Let me know!
It is, I own a 2008 Lancer which is the same. Its pretty liable and great on gas. I travel about 50 miles everyday to work and to home and I visit the gas station every 5-6 days which is pretty good. I get about 32-33 mpg as well when I don't drive hard

When I test drove the Lancer, I was not pleased. When accelerating the car seems to struggle, and its engine sounds terrible. Overall, I ended up switching and buying a 2008 new scion tc. In my opinion, add an extra 2k and go with the Scion TC, it doesn't

Oct 15, 2010 by Okami-Vi | Posted in Other - Pets
I read the most dangerous exotic/reg pets and thought it was strange to see Turtles but I guess with Salmonella that could be dangerous since my mom is sick to begin with.
So we were looking at cats but sadly some are just too far to drive

Trying to decide between 3 cars?
Aug 14, 2008 by lamborghini518 | Posted in Buying & Selling
Ok, I'm looking for my first car, and I'm trying to decide between 3: a Mercedes-Benz CLK 320, a Mercedes-Benz ML 320, and a Mercedes-Benz E-class. All between the years1997 and 2002, which should be within my price range, for the most part. The CLK is
The overwhelming safety information you have provided has lead to my decision of the E-Class, just because I agree every bit with you about all the safety features.
I think that people in this world don't know enough about all of the safety

Driver's ed for the big boys
21.05.12
I wasn't exactly nuts about the idea of an e-brake 360. In fact, I was petrified.
I was driving as fast as I could (or so I thought) on the wet pavement, slick with soap. "Faster, faster!" my instructor said from the passenger seat of my Fiat 500. He even pushed my right leg down on the throttle. Then, while in the middle of a swerving turn, he pulled my emergency brake. I screamed as the car spun, the world revolving outside my windshield. And then it was over. All that drama, and I hadn't even been going fast enough to do a full revolution. It was more like an e-brake 280.
Lucky for me, I was safely spinning around on the wet skid pad at the Houston Police Academy , where the Lone Star Region of the Porsche Club of America offers a performance driving school every few weeks. Guests are welcome to sign up, bring their own car (and it doesn't have to be a Porsche, but you'll see a lot of those there) and learn how to drive it better and more safely.
"We have the fire trucks come out and foam an area down, so at relatively low speeds, we can get you, the driver, into a skid - and then it's up to you to correct that skid," says Greg Platt , president of the LSRPCA. Skid correction is just one of the many exercises practiced at performance driving school.
